During the period from August 17thto August 21st, the 2022 Shanxi Athletics Championships for University and Secondary School Students, namely, the 22nd Shanxi Athletics Games for University and Secondary School Students, were held at the track and field of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics.
As the highest-level student sports event in Shanxi Province, the competition lasted for 7 days, with a total of 49 delegations participating. Our university sent 5 coaches and more than 40 athletes to participate in all the events of the sports department group and the high-level group.
Our university athletes won 31 gold, 15 silver and 6 bronze medals, individually with score of 265 in the sports department group(95 points ahead of the runner-up), and 481 in the high-level group(228 points ahead of the runner-up), as the men's team championship, the women's team championship and the total team championship.
